What did you want to be when you were little?
I wanted to be a forensic scientist. I don't know how I knew what that was, but I was into solving crimes. Also a gymnast, I wanted to be a gymnast.
What is your favourite childhood memory?
My parents took me to Disneyland when I was four, but the thing was, I was incredibly infectious with chickenpox. I was having a grand old time playing with all the kids, going on all the rides. I woke up the next day covered in chicken pox. It turns out I had been at Disneyland the entire day, so infectious. I probably gave half of Disneyland the chickenpox. I still have my pink Mickey Mouse heels from it. I love them.
What is the hardest lesson you have had to learn?
The people you love aren't going to stay around forever.
What advice would you give to your younger self?
I would tell myself not to be such a people pleaser. You need to put yourself first and not try to fit in with people that you don't like.
Do you view the world as more good than bad or bad than good?
Good than bad. So many bad things happen, but we don't see much of the good. We always hear the bad stuff. Underneath the bad, there is good happening that we just aren't exposed to. The bad is louder and makes more money.
What would you change if you could go back in time?
In a perfect scenario, I would change my sister dying. I would take her out of that situation. But that's something that I feel like I can't think about too much because it's already happened. It's hard to think about what you could have changed.
What is the best piece of advice you have been given?
Sleep on it. Don't make big decisions when you're feeling big emotions. The times that I haven't followed that advice have f***ed me over.

Getting married to a woman whom I had only known for four months. I begged her to cross the world for me and go on a crazy road trip. We ended up getting married by Elvis in Vegas.
What age do you feel right now and why?
Maybe 30. I feel older than I am, although, at the same time, I feel like a child as well. I feel like I have lived too many lives.
Tell us about the most defining moment in your life.
My diabetes diagnosis. My world changed. I had to learn how to live a completely different life that I didn't understand. It forced me to grow up at a very young age.
How many pillows do you sleep with?
It changes all the time. I used to be someone who needed a specific pillow to sleep on, but now I pass out on everything and nothing. There will be four pillows under me sometimes. I feel it defines a person. I met someone once who slept without pillows. I tried it once, and I rolled off the bed. It wasn't fun.
How will you know when you have made it?
I feel that's something that comes after death when you're not conscious anymore. I don't think humans know when they've made it. They always want more.
How do you define success for yourself?
Success for me is when I am happy with what I'm doing and when I am helping other people. Those are the only things that matter to me when it comes down to it.
What are you most grateful for?
I'm grateful for the way I was brought up. I don't think that I had too many expectations put on me. I was raised in a very welcoming environment, so I didn't ever feel I needed to hide who I was.

When I received the call that my sister had passed away, that was the most traumatic one. I still wake up screaming to nightmares of it.
What was your first email address?
It was, Tommy is cute one, two, three or something. I think I was nine. Tommy was my dog.
How do you define beauty?
As cliche as it is, someone's personality. Aesthetics don't have anything to do with beauty. If you're a beautiful soul on the inside, it radiates out.

There isn't a specific time. They circle around me betraying someone who had trusted me.
